This is in accordance with Article 146(3) of the 1992 Constitution. The petitions against Georgina Opoku-Amankwaah and Dr Amadu Sulley were filed by Emmanuel Korsi Senyo, a “Concerned Citizen of Ghana”, on Tuesday. He is demanding the impeachment of the two commissioners. This comes in the wake of an earlier petition filed by Concerned Workers of the Electoral Commission, demanding the removal of Charlotte Osei as Chair of the Commission.
