The Producer of GhanAkoma on Akoma FM, Nana Asenso Mensah, has received the Media Achievers Award for Excellence presented to him by United Clergy International Association (UCIA).
The honorary award is in recognition of his hard work, enthusiasm and commitment beyond the call of duty and his contribution to the media in Ghana for sustainable national development.
This award adds up to his numerous collection after he was adjudged the 2018 Best Investigative Reporter by the Ashanti Regional Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) and other certificates of merit.
The 16th Ever Achievers Leadership Awards by the UCIA brought together politicians, outstanding media personalities, traditional rulers, and major stakeholders and players within the manufacturing industry.
Education Minister Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, Energy Minister Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh and other government appointees including traditional rulers were all honoured.
Facilitator of UCIA Global Achievers Leadership Award Dr Kwame Aburam Anoff Sr. in his welcome address urged all and sundry to “strive to brighten the small corner we find ourselves because you will never know who is watching you”.
“Let’s impact lives and help each other in our small way to ensure sustainable development.”
