The two sides clashed on Monday afternoon in Week 6 of the 2020-2021 Ghana Premier League season at the Berekum Golden City Park.
They were both chasing their second win of the season after a poor start.
Berekum Chelsea showed great signs in the early stages of the game with captain Stephen Amankona and returnee Stephen Sarfo creating chances for the Bibires.
Chelsea eventually had the opener, kind courtesy an Isaac Kwain deflection. Stephen Amankona’s low drive deflected Kwain to give the home side the lead on the 24th minutes.
Aduana Stars came in stronger in the second half and in-form Yahaya Mohammed, who has scored 3 of the 4 goals the Ogya Boys have scored this season, managed to make the difference.
His freekick was connected very well by Bright Adjei in the second half to make it 1-1.
The draw takes the Dormaa-based side to 11th on the log with Berekum Chelsea lying 12th with 6 points.
