The Member of Parliament for the Bolgatanga Central Constituency in the Upper East Region has received an award from the Pan African Heroes Foundation.
Mr Isaac Adongo, who is also a Member of the Finance Committee of Parliament, was adjudged the Most Influential Economist of the Seventh Parliament.
The award is in recognition of the legislator’s contribution to the work of the Seventh Parliament.
The Pan African Heroes Foundation is an organization which acknowledges and projects the image of self-motivated personalities whose activities support livelihood which contributes to the socio-economic growth with high potential to champion the cause of communal and national development.
In a speech, the Bolgatanga Central MP said the award is a motivation to do more.
He revealed that he will soon be doing a diaspora engagement to expose the government’s handling of the economy.
