Adisadel Old Boys ‘fight’ dismissal of headmaster

The President of the National Executive Council of Adisadel Old Boys' Association is Kojo Yankah (in white)[/caption] The Adisadel Old Boys Association (AOBA) is shocked a committee which investigated an allegation of misconduct  against the headmaster of the school found him guilty. Mr. William Kusi-Yeboah was said to have violated various acts of Ghana Education Service (GES) procedures. The man has since been redeployed to the Ashanti Regional office of the Ghana Education Service for re-assignment. Mr. Kusi-Yeboah is said to have issued directives on the advice of his management to the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) to deregister two of his students for the WASSCE because they posed a threat to the school. But the committee set up to investigate his actions said the decision was taken unilaterally because two members of the school's governing board and the management were not consulted. [caption id="attachment_115672" align="aligncenter" width="600"] William Kusi-Yeboah[/caption] But the National Executive Committee of the Adisadel Old Boys Association is not happy that it was not informed about the decision to transfer the headmaster before the information even found its way into the media. “We are shocked by the outcome of the investigations, and we are even more concerned that such an important issue was leaked to the media on the blind side of the Board and Headmaster himself,” a statement signed by the President of the old boys, Mr. Kojo Yankah said on Friday. It said the Association will make its position known at an emergency meeting of the Board of Governors on Monday 4th March, 2019. Mr Kusi-Yeboah has been replaced by the Headmaster of Assin State College in Assin Bereku in the Central Region, Mr Francis K. Agbodanu, who is also an old boy. Source: 3news.com | Ghana
