Hearts of Oak recorded their first away victory of the season against King Faisal at the Nana Ameyaw Park on Saturday, December 19 when the two sides met in Week 6 of the Ghana Premier League.

Both sides were looking forward to making amends and bouncing back to winning ways after losing their previous games.
Kosta Papic made two changes to the squad that lost to Aduana Stars at Dormaa Park in their outstanding Ghana Premier League fixture. Victor Kweku Aidoo and Richmond Ayi replaced Richard Atta and Kojo Obeng Jnr respectively.
Midfielder Benjamin Afutu connected to Michelle Sarpong’s cross on the 21st minutes to give Hearts of Oak the lead.
King Faisal equalized three minutes into the second half. Kwame Peprah latched in a cross to find Kwadwo Frimpong, who headed home to give them the much awaited equalizer.
Both sides came close to increasing their tally as they were searching for a winner.
With few minutes to end proceedings, Hearts of Oak were awarded a penalty.
Abdul Manaf stepped up and scored to hand them the victory.
The win has pushed the Phobians to the 5th position on the league log with 8 points.
