EOCO is reported to be investigating the loss of about GH¢480,000 from the Endowment Fund at the Commission. Two other senior officers including the Chief Accountant, Kwaku Owusu Agyei-Larbi, has also been asked to proceed on leave over the same issue. These were contained in a letter dated July 4, 2017 and written to the Chair of the Commission, Charlotte Osei. Written by Acting EOCO Executive Director ACP KK Amoah (rtd), the letter said the cited senior officers will help in investigations into the matter. In an interview with the Spokesperson of the EC, Eric Kofi Dzakpasu he indicated that “the two deputy chairpersons and the director of finance and the chief accountant have been made to proceed on leave but not on the ground of they having committed any offense. “They are not yet accused of any offense but by the nature of the investigation to protect the integrity of the investigation as I’ve been briefed, they’ve been made to proceed on leave so that as and when there are new updates we’ll know.” By 3news.com|Ghana Twitter: @3newsgh  ]]>
