Ghanaians applaud Delay on 15 years of consistent entertainment on the Delay Show

It was an emotional day for Ghanaian celebrity talk show host, Delores Frimpong-Manso who clocked 15 years with over 500 episodes of The Delay Show.

The show which first aired on TV3 on April 4, 2008, shook the entertainment industry with its hard-hitting questions, banter and funny viral footage.

Over the years, Delay’s introduction, witty commentary and the controversies that have shrouded the show has kept it fresh and alive in the minds of viewers even in a digital age when content abounds.

Delay shared the exciting news on her social media timeline which was followed by a slew of congratulatory messages from fans all over the world.

“The Delay show is 15 years today ???To God be the Glory! The Delay Show,” she captioned along with a photo of herself in an off-the-shoulder cocktail dress.

In another post, the media mogul and serial entrepreneur said 15 years in the game was engineered by God’s goodness and grace

“THIS IS WHAT A WALK WITH GOD LOOKS LIKE ? ✨ ”

Delay has interviewed a wide range of personalities during the span of her fruitful career including Kennedy Agyepong, the Late Sir John, Nana Aba Anamoah,  Bishop Obinim, Prophet Kumchacha, Felicia Osei, Shugatiti, Black Sherif and an endless list of individuals.

She’s been likened to Oprah, Queen Latifah and Ellen DeGeneres for her presenting skills.
