Some Ghanaians celebrities are standing in solidarity with convicted Akuapem Poloo against the judicial ruling for posting nudes of her son and herself on social media.
Sarkodie, Sister Derby, Lydia Forson, A-Plus, Vanessa Gyan, Efya and DKB believe the judgement meted out to their comrade is harsh and unfair. They have added their voices to the #FreeAkuapemPoloo Movement in hopes that the verdict may be overturned or even reduced sentencing.
Actress Rosemond Brown is popularly known as Akuampem Poloo, was convicted on her own plead after she pled guilty to charges against her in court. The Accra Circuit Court convicted her on publication of obscene materials and two counts of domestic violence on 14th April 2021.
