3Sports to provide exclusive coverage of FIFA World Cup trophy tour in Ghana

The 3Sports team will champion an exclusive coverage of the FIFA World Cup trophy tour in Ghana during the week as the 2022 FIFA World Cup approaches.

Ahead of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, for the first time ever, the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour by Coca Cola will visit all 32 nations that have qualified for the tournament.

The tour will come to an end in Doha, Qatar, just days before the World Cup commences on 20th November 2022.

The World Cup trophy, which is currently valued at $20 million, will be in Ghana during the weekend and 3Sports will provide exclusive coverage of the trophy’s arrival during the week.

We will also bring you an exclusive interview with FIFA World Cup ambassador, David Trezeguet at 2:30 pm on Saturday, September 3, 2022. On Sunday, we will bring you the live viewing from the Polo Court where fans will be allowed to have a look at the trophy.

The World Cup trophy tour will be live on TV3, 3FM, and Onua TV.

The FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola has been bringing the most iconic trophy in the world to fans globally since 2006.

In total, the 2022 edition will stop in 51 countries and territories, taking Coca-Cola and FIFA one step closer to the goal of the trophy visiting each of FIFA’s 211 member associations by 2030.
