Magna Cum Laude student Edward Gordon has declared his intention to contest the upcoming presidential elections of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
Having attained huge numbers in the approval ratings over the last month, many believe the third year student of the Faculty of Law will be the solution to what students have sought.
He pursued his first degree at the same university, where he read Bed. Arts (English and Religion and Human Values) and became a Teaching Assistant at the Department of English.
He has nurtured a lot of people on campus and that is what has accounted for his massive approval rating ahead of this year’s SRC elections slated for March 26, 2020.
The UCC Faculty of Law is a young faculty that is about seven years old but has managed to produce one (1) SRC President so far in the person of Tony Henry Arthur, who performed creditably well to the admiration of all students.
Will the Faculty be able to produce another one in this year’s elections? It is only time that will tell.
Sources close to the students reveal Edward Gordon is likely to win the elections with a wide margin if his approval rating keeps increasing at the rate it is moving.
He is trumpeting his experience at the students’ leadership front and his knowledge of the institution he seeks to serve as his strongest trump card for his SPIRITED ADVOCACY mantra of championing the interest of the ordinary student at all spheres.
His running mate is Eugenia Afi Opare.
