The Black Satellites produced three players into the Team of the Tournament of the WAFU Zone B U-20 Cup of Nations held in Benin.

The team was selected by a Technical Study Group after the tournament.
Asante Kotoko’s Danlad Ibrahim, who played in all four games for the Black Satellites and kept two clean sheets including the semi final tie against Niger, was named in the poles.
Precious Boah, who was Ghana’s top scorer at the tournament with two goals, was named in the forward line.
Defender Kobina Amoah was named as part of the back four in the team.
Ghana emerged as the winners after beating Burkina Faso 2-1 in the finals.
