The draw for the tournament in November/December will take place on the heels of the ongoing 72nd FIFA Congress in Qatar.
It takes place at the Doha Exhibition & Conference Centre on Friday, April 1.
In Ghana’s pot are also Cameroon, Ecuador, Saudi Arabia, Canada, who also returning since 1986, and the three qualifiers from the play-offs scheduled to take place in June.
