Ghanaian musician Criss Waddle has dismissed claims in some quarters that he is contesting in this year’s parliamentary elections on the ticket of the Convention People’s Party (CPP).
There were posters circulating on social media indicating the CEO of AMG is contesting to become a lawmaker in Ghana.
But in a statement, he said: “Our attention has been drawn to a politically suggestive artwork circulating across social media platforms bearing the picture of AMG Business CEO popularly known as Criss Waddle claiming he’s running for MP in Tema constituency on the ticket of the CPP.
“We unequivocally state that Criss Waddle is not affiliated, associated, authorized endorsed by or in any way officially connected with the Convention People’s Party or any of its subsidiaries & other political parties.”
