2020 GMB: I’ll uplift my community if I win – Central Region’s Afriyie

The Central Region representative in this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB), Afriyie, full name Mercy Fiankobea Nartey, has stated that she would like to win this year’s competition to strengthen her plans and get a platform to help people. In an interview, she stated that the competition is a huge platform which could catapult her project of education. “My project which is the African child inspired project is the reason why I’m here. I need the platform to get people to come on board to help me pursue this project.” Reacting to the impact of her project, Afriyie was of the view that the project would be for the greater good of everybody and not the Central Region alone. “This project will not only help people in my region. It will help anybody in that predicament in Ghana and the beneficiaries can also go out and inspire others and we can impact the whole country.” Should she be crowned queen, she would be the fourth representative from the Central Region to walk away with the coveted crown.
