Matchweek 5 of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) offers some mouthwatering games on the table.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko will switch attention to the GPL after their involvement in the CAF Champions League when they face Bashir Hayford’s Legon Cities today Friday December 11.
The Porcupines have played two games. Picking just two points in those games means they are 14th on the league table right behind Legon Cities who are placed 13th with three points in four games.
Both sides will approach the game with the intention to win.
On Saturday, we will witness two matches, Ebusua Dwarfs vs Medeama SC.
Meadama SC started the premier league season slowly and would want to reverse this trend by winning this encounter.
They sit at the bottom of the league table after three games, picking just two points. They are gradually drifting away from being title contenders but we will say it is still early days yet.
The other game to witness tomorrow will see Inter Allies welcome Bechem United to the Accra Sports Stadium.
On Sunday, former champions Aduana Stars will entertain 5th placed Eleven Wonders in Dormaa Ahenkro.
The Techiman side will be led by head tactician Ignatius Fosu to try and beat strugglers Aduana after losing to WAFA at home last weekend.
Accra Hearts of Oak will host Dreams FC at home. The Phobians are yet to pick a win in the 20/21 Ghana Premier League.
Their new coach, Kosta Papic took charge last weekend and will be hoping to hit the ground running as soon as possible.
League leaders, Karela United will be looking to keep up their impressive start to the season when they come up against King Faisal at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on Sunday.
