The 2019 edition of TV3 Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant will take a different turn, as there is an increase in the number of contestants from ten ladies to 16.
Ghana’s Most Beautiful has been running successfully for over a decade now, and the show has had 10 ladies representing each region of Ghana every year.
However, there is a change in script with regard to the number of contestants this year as a result of the creation of six additional regions by the government.
The six new regions – Oti, Savannah, Bono East, Ahafo, North East and Western North – which were created through a referendum which took place last year, will have representatives in this year’s competition in addition to representatives from the existing ten regions.
This was disclosed by organizers of Ghana’s Most Beautiful at the launch in Accra on Friday, June 14.
Thus, this year’s competition promises a keener contest as there are more competitors on-board the GMB train.
Auditions for this year’s competition takes off in Accra on Friday, June 21, and will take place in other parts of the country as well.
