Zenith Bank gives Media General, others tough rivalry to win Reliance Olympics

The Zenith Bank group put up a great performance at the Burma Camp Sports Complex in Accra last Friday to emerge the overall winner of the maiden Reliance Olympics and Staff Hangout 2017. It received a golden cup and souvenirs from Reliance Personnel Services Limited, a human resource company.
The trophies for the big winners
Participated teams were drawn from from the Media General Group (operators of TV3, editors.3news.com, 3FM, Onua FM, Connect FM and Akoma FM ), Zenith Bank, Dalex Finance, MTN, TIGO, Ericson, Huawei, Helios Towers, SGS and CFAO, among others. The teams competed in various sporting activities including football, volleyball, tug of war, sack race, musical chairs, lime and spoon, eating competition, draft, cards and oware among other events.
Team Media General
The Media General Group at the end of the football competition emerged best football team, taking home medals and souvenirs. Helios came second. Dalex Finance placed first in volleyball while Zenith Bank was second. The eating competition was won by Tigo while MTN took the second position. Zenith Bank was adjudged the best team in the Oware game while Media General Group placed second. The Ericson group won the sack race, followed by the Media General Group in the second place and and Zenith Bank at the third spot. The Ericson group again came first in the lime and spoon competition while Zenith Bank and MTN placed second and third respectively. Tug of war, which was the most interesting among all the games, was won by MTN while the Huawei group came second. Zenith Bank again beat all the groups to win the musical chairs competition.The event created a platform for participants and their supporters to socialize and have fun.
