Remain hopeful for ‘greater opportunities in 2018’ – Freddie Blay

Acting Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Freddie Blay, has asked party members and Ghanaians whose expectations of the Akufo-Addo government have not been met yet to remain hopeful in the year 2018. In a statement to wish Ghanaians, especially party faithfuls a prosperous new year, the chairman said: “All our expectations may not have been met yet but let’s remain hopeful in the great leader we fought to serve.”He assured party faithfuls of greater opportunities in 2018, which he said would not only better their lives but that of Ghanaians as a whole, as despite the challenges, President Nana Akufo-Addo is would put the citizenry first in his governance. “Let’s brace ourselves for the greater opportunities that lie ahead of us this New Year-tapping into all not just to better our lives but that of others around us,” he assured. He underscored the need for the rank and file of the party rise above the many challenges to serve diligently, and asked them to take consolation in the fact that “we have a listening and working government who has the spirit of servitude and therefore put the citizenry first”.
