The Omanhene of Goaso Traditional Area in the Brong Ahafo region, Nana Akwasi Bosomprah says the gods will strike him dead if he fails to proclaim the projects done in his area by the governing National Democratic Congress.

He made this pronouncement when the Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur paid a curtesy call on him at his palace on Thursday as part of his campaign tour in the Brong Ahafo region.

“Here at Goaso, if I say that the NDC has not done anything for us, the gods of the land and almighty God will kill me.They [referring to the gods and God] will both testify that I am a liar by saying anything derogatory about the NDC. Look at the roads at the Zongo, it is the NDC that did it for us.

“Whenever there is a fire outbreak here [Goaso], the fire tender’s route is through the Zongo. And how did we get the fire tender? It was through the NDC,” he said.

Nana Akwasi Bosomprah said the late Prof. John Evans Atta Mills was in the process of securing a licence office for Goaso to save residents from travelling to Techiman to get their driving licence.

“…but I know in your second term in office you will complete the processing of documents to get us the license office,” he said.
