Ranking Member of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Youth, Sports and Culture, Kwabena Mensah Woyome, has welcomed the suspension of Sports Minister Pius Enam Hadzide over the Commonwealth Games visa scandal. While commending the President Akufo-Addo for the decision, Mr. Woyome said the suspension however does not bring a closure to the visa racketeering for some 60 persons including fake journalists and athletes. We don’t want a situation whereby some people would be used as scapegoats”, he told host of the show Nana Yaw Opare.
