Queens to play Nigeria in WAFU Cup semis

The Black Queens have been handed a semi-final clash with Nigeria’s Super Falcons in the ongoing WAFU Women’s Cup. The Falcons beat Togo 3-1 in their final group game on Monday to set up a date with their arch-rivals. The Queens had booked a semi-final place on Sunday after a 4-1 win over Burkina Faso on Sunday, placing second in Group A. The Ghana-Nigeria clash will be played on Thursday. The last meeting between the two sides ended 1-1, at the 2016 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
