In the wake of issues surrounding Hearts of Oak coach Frank Elliot Nuttall, Mohammed Polo, a former player and coach of the club, has advised the Scot not to accept his post back even if the three-member committee to investigate his allegation proves him not guilty. The 48-year-old has been fingered as the reason for the departure of Thomas Abbey, Vincent Atingah, Kwame Kizito, Leonard Tawiah and other players. He has also been alleged to have advised some of the players to leave their agents to sign for NM Football Consultancy owned by his fellow countryman Neil Murray. Speaking with Oteng-Appau Papin on Onua FM, Mohammed Polo said, “It’s problematic. What has happened has tarnished his image especially with his job. “I don’t know how a foreign coach will want to damage his image and the image of his club. “Coach Frank Elliot Nuttal should not accept to come to join the team, even if he is found not guilty. The mere fact that there is such a huge allegation against him is dumbfounding. “Whether the allegation is true or false, the mere fact you are suspended tarnishes your image. This is different from sack.  Sacking is normal with coaches, even Kenechi [Yatsuhashi] was sacked”. A three-member committee chaired by Dr Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe with Ivy Heward-Mills – a former High Court judge – and Frank Nelson as members is expected to submit its findings to the board by Friday.
