The Stars will be out to play again next month[/caption] Ghana are one of the three African nations that dropped out of the top 50 in the latest FIFA ranking released on Thursday. Ghana dropped to 54th from the 50th placing last month. African champions Cameroon and Burkina Faso are the other nations to have dropped out of that bracket. The Indomitable Lions dropped six places to 51st while the Stallions plummeted 13 places to 57th. Tunisia’s 23rd position in the global ranking makes them the continent’s Number 1-ranked side. They are followed by fellow FIFA World Cup returnees Senegal, who dropped three places to 27th. DR Congo are the only non-World Cup-bound side to be in the Top 5 on the continent. They are third with Morocco and Egypt completing the line-up. Germany continue to lead the ranking in a no-change placing at the top. Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium complete the Top 5 in the world. There were no new entries in the Top 20. Only that World Cup debutants Iceland moved up to 18th place in their highest ever ranking, displacing Sweden and Wales into 19th and 20th respectively. Source: 3news.com|Ghana ]]>
