Despite there being two matches of the fifth round left to play excluding replays, the FA Cup quarter-final ties were drawn soon after Manchester United‘s 2-0 victory at Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

The standout tussle in a rather underwhelming slate of fixtures is Leicester City hosting Chelsea. The Foxes haven’t beaten the Blues since the 2-1 Premier League triumph that ended Jose Mourinho’s second tenure at the club in December 2015. The pair last met in the FA Cup in March 2012, when Fernando Torres bagged a brace in a straight-forward 5-2 win for the capital club.

Elsewhere, there was a collective sigh of relief in Manchester as the two powerhouses from the old Cottonopolis avoided each other in the draw conducted by Michael Owen and Shay Given. Here is the draw in full:
  • Sheffield Wednesday/Swansea City vs. Rochdale/Tottenham Hotspur
  • Manchester United vs. Brighton & Hove Albion
  • Leicester City vs. Chelsea
  • Wigan Athletic/Manchester City vs. Southampton
The matches will be played over the weekend of March 17-18. Source thescore.com
