Ghana’s two top clubs – Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko – on Sunday observed a minute’s silence for Burkina Faso international Soulama Abdoulaye just before kick-off of the 2017 MTN FA Cup final.
It was a sad moment for the two sides as Soulama – who featured for both sides in his playing career in Ghana – died two days ahead of the clash.
He died in his hometown of Banfora after a long illness.
After news of the death of Soulama broke on Saturday morning, the two clubs paid him tribute via their twitter accounts.
