Self acclaimed dancehall king,  Shatta Wale, has been nominated in the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs). Having been away from the VGMAs for some time now, Shatta Wale makes a comeback with a nomination of his hit song “Ayo” in the Hiplife Song of the Year. He has to shrug off  stiff competition from other big forces like Fancy Gadam for Total Cheat, Wutah, Bronya;  Nancee featuring Guru with Boys Boys, Sarkodie’s Painkiller, Captain Planet  with Obi Gyi Obi Gal and Patapaa with One Corner to win that category. 2017 has been a very good year for the Ayo hit maker who dished out hit songs back to back throughout the year and it comes as no surprise that he’s nominated in this category. The big question  “Is Shatta Wale back in the VGMAs”, has finally been answered.  Yes, Shatta Wale is back and his comeback must certainly be welcoming news to music fans especially within the Shatta Movement camp. Other nominees in the first batch of nominations released by Charter House exclusively on Media General’s platforms include the following: Check out: VGMA 2018 nominees unveiled Source: 3news.com | Ghana]]>
