Police Renowned sound engineer David Kojo Kyei, popularly known as Kaywa, has expressed his complete trust in the Ghana Police Service. In an interview on the maiden edition of Easy Stream’s Famous Friday on 3FM with MC Bobby, Kaywa said he trusts the police as they always have the interest of Ghanaians at heart. Reacting to the recent announcement that the police must be alerted when withdrawing huge sums of money following a deadly robbery incident in Tema last Wednesday on Lebanese businessman Ahmed Safiadeen, the ‘Highly Spiritual’ man said, “You’ve got to trust people like the police who are actually taking care of us and so for me I will always trust the police a hundred percent.” He was, however, quick to add that while there are some good policemen, the fact shouldn’t be ignored that there are some bad nuts among them as well. Reacting to calls that President Nana Akufo-Addo should focus on the country’s current security state instead of lending a helping hand to US fight terrorism, Kaywa said: “Armed Robbery is everywhere. The issue isn’t about doing the little things before the big things.” “If you can take care of it, then you do. We are ready to help fight terrorism. Terrorism can happen in any country, so if it is happening to your neighbor, you help fight it.” 3FM’s Famous Friday on Easy Stream is on the last Friday of every month designed to bring famous people from different fields of work in order to test their knowledge on other areas aside their known expertise.
