Artistes asking for money to perform at Ebony's tribute concert – Manager claims

Some Ghanaian musicians are asking to be paid to perform at the planned tribute concert for the late dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns, on March 23, manager of the late artiste, Ricky Nana Agyemang has revealed. According to the manager, popularly known as Bullet, though some of these artistes, who he did not name, came to the one week observance of the demise of Ebony, they are now asking for money before they will perform at the tribute concert. This is pure hypocrisy,” Bullet posted on Facebook Thursday afternoon.   The tribute concert which is scheduled to take place at the Trade Fair Center in Accra is being organized by RuffTown Records in collaboration with the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) to remember and celebrate Ebony and her musical works ahead of her burial on March 24. Becca, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, VIP, R2Bees, Edem, Shatta Wale, Kofi Kinaata, Efya and other artistes are billed to perform at the concert.
