Wa All Stars coach Sarfo Castro has announced his resignation from the Ghana Premier League club.
The former Okwahu United coach was appointed head coach of the Northern Blues last month. He replaced Alhaji Mumuni Sokpari.
But after seven games in charge, the former Asante Kotoko assistant coach has relinquished his post.
“It is personal,” he said in Twi on Onua FM on Monday.
“There are no problems,” he pointed out.
According to him, the bankroller of the team, Kwesi Nyantakyi, who is also the President of the Ghana Football Association, makes sure the team is provided every need.
“I don’t regret [being coach of All Stars],” he said.”I will even relocate to [Wa] if I get the opportunity.”
While gaffer of Wa All Stars, Sarfo Castro was without a win as he lost four matches and drew three with the latest coming on Sunday – one-all – at WAFA.
The 2016 champions currently lie bottom of the League.
