[Preview] Ghana travel to B Faso for CHAN qualifier

Maxwell Konadu will lead the charges against the Local Stallions

All is set for the Local Black Stars to face their Burkinabe counterparts in a match which could determine who qualifies for  Kenya 2018’s Championship of Africa Nation ( CHAN).

The match will be played in Ouagadougou with a return leg to be hosted in Ghana a week after.

The CHAN tournament is due to start on January 12 to February 4, 2018.

The CHAN tournament was created for footballers who play in their countries’ respective league to showcase their talent.

Burkina Faso will be hoping to qualify for the second time since its inception.

Ghana has an experience of reaching the finals of the tournament twice and will hope to qualify to win the trophy.

Ghana has no cause to fear as some of the players called to the team are in top form and will hope to transfer their play into Saturday’s game to give Ghana at least a draw and hope to win when they play at home.

Players like Felix Annan, Saddick Adams, Winful Cobbinah and Thomas Abbey, who is the current joint top scorer of the local league, are all present in the team to give Ghana a better result.

Black Stars ‘B’ have had numerous preparatory matches and will build on the results recorded in those matches.
