It will be the first of three rounds of vetting scheduled for this week.
First to appear is expected to be Minister-designate for the Upper East Region Albert Abongo, who is also the Member of Parliament for Bongo Constituency.
Following Mr Bongo would have been a Deputy Minister of Trades and Industry and MP for Cape Coast South, Kweku Ricketts-Hagan, who would have faced the committee as President John Dramani Mahama’s nominee as Central Region Minister. But last minute changes have been made by the Committee.
As a result, Ashanti Region Minister-designate will be vetted instead on Monday.
Last for the first day of vetting will be Youth and Sports Minister-designate, Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye.
The former sports journalist and MP for Odododiodio Constituency is the current Deputy Minister for Local Government and Rural Development.
Ministers-designate have been directed not to appear before the panel in the accompaniment of more than 10 supporters.
The second day of the process, Tuesday, February 9, will see former Chief of Staff Prosper Bani – who has been nominated for the Ministry of Interior – and Mavis Ama Frimpong designated for the Eastern Region appear before the panel.
Northern Region Minister-designate AbdallahAbubakari and his opposite number for the Central Region, Mr Hagan, will be up on Wednesday, February 10.
