The personal photographer and bodyguard of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo have been released from the custody of the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI), TV3 can confirm.

The two – Kwadwo Kyeremeh and Malik Neequaye – were released at 11:55pm Tuesday, TV3 gathers.

The two had gone to the offices of the BNI on Tuesday in the company of Captain Edmund Koda – head of Nana Addo’d security – to serve as witnesses over some items said to have been taken from the retired captain’s residence some time back.

But a statement issued on Tuesday by the Office of New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer said the two were detained after their refusal to sign a ‘Personality Profile’ form.

TV3’s sources say Mr Kyeremeh and Mr Neequaye were released before Wednesday, April 20.

The source, however, failed to tell whether the two signed the forms before their release.
