Two arrested, two declared wanted in deadly Bimbilla gun battle

Wanted by police[/caption] The Northern Regional Police Command has declared two suspects wanted for their alleged involvement in last Thursday’s fatal gun battle at Bimbilla in the Northern Region. At least three persons were shot to death in the melee while several others sustained life-threatening injuries. The three who lost their lives are Fuseini Issahaku, 35, Abdul Bassist Osman, and Salifu Razak, 35. Victims receiving treatment in the hospital mentioned the names of four suspects including the two who have been declared wanted now. Northern Regional Police Public Relations Officer ASP Yussif Tanko gave the names of the two as Alhassan Issah and Alhassan Hadi aka Alpama. “The two people have been mentioned as being part of those that planned the attack,” he told 3news.com in an interview.
