Media General applauded for championing “Ghana month” campaign

Subsidiaries of the Media General Group[/caption] Made in Ghana ambassador and gospel singer,  Emelia Arthur, has singled out Media General, a leading media conglomerate, and commended it for spearheading  the “Ghana month” campaign on all their platforms. Media General declared March a “Ghana month” and has since the beginning of the month been championing “Eat Ghana, Wear Ghana, Watch Ghana  and Know Ghana”,  and has strategically  aligned its  productions and content in that direction. Media General is the mother company of Onua FM, 3FM, Connect FM, Akoma FM, 3news.com, APL and TV3. A congratulatory  note from the ambassadors outfit reads, “Emelia Arthur is commending Media General Group, managers of TV3, Onua FM, 3FM, connect FM, Akoma FM and 3news.com for setting aside the month of March as “Ghana month” to promote made in Ghana products and services” Her note indicates the achievement of Media General in driving the campaign will serve a national interest. “This achievement will serve a good purpose for the entire nation,” she stressed. Her comments come few days after TV3 has been ranked by Geopoll as the most viewed television station in Ghana, solidifying its tagline “First in News, Best in Entertainment”. She believes such efforts will ultimately translate into  “the patronage of Made in Ghana products as well as create jobs and grow the economy”. Emelia Arthur was named by the ministry of tourism  among other distinguished Ghanaians to lead a campaign dubbed Made in Ghana. The Made in Ghana (MIG) is aimed at increasing the production and consumption of MIG goods and services.
