The event has been necessitated in response to one of the group’s four core mandates of mentoring the youth with godly principles and the determination to make the most of their God-given potentials. The other three is being organizing Word, Prayer and Worship Conferences. The New Year’s maiden event, which will be chaired by respected persons in society, will bring together seasoned mentors like Rev. Dr. Joyce Aryee (Executive Director, Salt and Light Ministries), Rev. Daniel Ogbarmey Tetteh (Director General, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)), Julian Kingsley Opuni (Deputy Managing Director, Fidelity Bank) and Rev. Kennedy Kwame Owiredu (Minister, Presbyterian Church of Ghana and Translation Officer, Bible Society of Ghana). Topics to be treated include Rethinking Money/Investment, the Christian as a Social Transformer, Rethinking Business/Entrepreneurship and Developing a Total Me. The event themed ‘Momentum’ will be held in the main auditorium of the Kaneshie Presby Church. This mentoring conference, being first of its kind, after the Prayer and Worship Convocations organised in March and July 2017 respectively, is expected to draw persons in corporate Ghana, students/youth, and entrepreneurs. Parrhesia Commission is a group of Christian youth who bear the vision of reaching out to Christian youth from all over the globe by empowering through, Word, Worship, Prayer and Mentoring. Parrhesia is a Greek word which can simply mean “boldness” or “courage” in intimidating circumstances. With the right Word, Worship, Prayer and Mentoring atmosphere, we believe many young people of our generation and beyond can be brought to the saving knowledge of Christ and raised up to impart their generation and society with the grace and potential they have received in Christ. Rev. Kennedy Owiredu is the visionary of the group and Rev. Dr. Godwin N.N. Odonkor is the group’s patron. Together with dedicated team members, supportive sponsors and volunteers, we hope to reach out to the world with this vision. Source: 3news.com|Ghana ]]>
