James Town kingmakers to install Acting Mantse this week

Oblempong Nii Kojo Ababio V[/caption] Kingmakers and elders of James Town in Accra, barring any unforeseen circumstance, will install an Acting James Town Mantse on Thursday 18th January, 2018. Information available to 3news.com indicates that the principal kingmakers and elders of Ngleshie Alata Traditional Area will perform a traditional rituals to install one Nii Sackey Akomia VI as the acting Mantse of the Traditional Area. Sources close to the Ngleshie Alata Traditional Council of the Ga State explained that the elders took the decision following the incapacitation of the Paramount Chief of Ngleshie Alata Traditional Area, Oblempong Nii Kojo Ababio V. The chief has been taken ill for sometime now and his condition was said to have been a bit critical. The sources said Nii Sackey Akomia VI, who is the Adansi Mantse and the Head of Wetse Kojo Family Ruling House in Accra, was therefore selected to act in the stead of the chief who has also advanced in age.
