176 senior Prisons officers promoted

One hundred and seventy-six superior officers of the Ghana Prisons Service across the country have been promoted to their next ranks, 3news.com can authoritatively report. Eleven Chief Superintendents of Prisons have been promoted to the rank of Assistant Directors of Prisons while nine Superintendents have now been made Chief Superintendents of Prisons. One Deputy Superintendent of Prisons has been promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Prisons. Additionally, 155 Assistant Superintendents of Prisons have also been promoted to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Prisons. The promotions, which were approved by the Prisons Service Council on December 13, 2017, take effect from January 1, 2018.
