Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has rounded off his four-day campaign tour of the Brong Ahafo Region with a promise to establish a ferry port for the people of Yeji in the Pru East Constituency.
Speaking to teeming supporters at Yeji, Nana Akufo-Addo said an NPP government would establish the habour to facilitate the transportation of passengers and goods.
“Several factories are going to be established in this general area to boost economic activities,” he assured.
“We have in fact captured in our manifesto that we will create a ferry port here in Yeji and we will do it to facilitate transportation of people and goods.”
Nana Akufo-Addo’s four-day tour of the Region took him to the Sunyani, Asunafo North and South, Berekum East and West, Jaman South and Ateibu Amanteng constituencies.
He reiterated his promise of building one factory in each constituency and one dam in each village in northern Ghana.
He also promised the revitalization of the National Health Insurance Scheme as well as the cocoa sector.
