Young entrepreneur receives 'Most Outstanding Female Personality in Educ.' award

Ms. Auguster Asantewa Boateng, founder of The Butterfly Effect, a nonprofit and human right advocacy group, has been awarded for her outstanding role in promoting education among the marginalised in Ghana as part of efforts towards achieving the UN sustainable development goal. At the 4th Feminine Ghana Achievement Award in Accra Friday, Ms. Boateng received the “Most Outstanding Female Personality in Education” award. Through The Butterfly Effect, she has been using effective and sustainable strategies to promote and protect the right of the African child and youth by focusing on their health, education and empowerment. Ms. Boateng hopes to create an environment that support children and youth, increase educational and health opportunities through viable social schemes and an informed knowledge that contribute to a higher standard of living. The award, instituted by the Business Executive Magazine, seeks to identify, publicly recognize and reward women in various field of endeavours whose personal and professional conduct have been exemplary and outstanding. Ultimately, the award  exist  to create a pool of role models who serve to set new and higher standards of accomplished women in Ghana to inspire others to emulate their professional achievement.
