Victoria Hammah[/caption] Former Deputy Communications Minister under the Mahama-led administration, Victoria Hammah has defended Ghanaian actress and model, Moesha Boduong that her motivation for dating a married man, just like other women in Ghana, is due to the harsh economy. Speaking on Onua FM’s Yen Nsempa, Victoria Hammah said Moesha is being factual because that is what is happening in the country today. “They are very factual. She is saying something which is factual and that is why we have the LEAP program to help the needy in the society.” Moesha Boduong in an interview with the CNN said “In Ghana our economy is such a way that you need someone to take care of you. You can’t make enough money as a woman here. Because even when you want to get an apartment, in Ghana they take two years’ advance and I just started working where will I get money to pay?” [caption id="attachment_80960" align="aligncenter" width="667"] Moesha Buduong[/caption] Stunned by Moesha’s revelation, CNN’s Christine Amanpour asked her “are you basically telling me that you are having sex with this guy to pay your rent?” to which, Moesha responded in the affirmative. “He takes care of me, my financials, my apartment, my car, and my rent.  He expects me to be loyal and take care of him and give him sex when he wants.” The former Deputy Communications Minister said “we need to address the real issue because of the inequality in the society. We must address it.” Asked if she would have done same if she were to be poor, single and young, Victoria Hammah told Onua FM’s Yen Nsempa host Bright Kwasi Asempa that “I am not poor to find myself in that vulnerability”.
