George Afriyie, who was the first person to officially declare his intention to contest the 2019 presidential election of the Ghana FA, is no more part of the Association.
The Liberty Professionals Chief Executive Officer revealed his plans to replace Kwesi Nyantakyi at his 50th birthday celebrations barely a month ago.
Several football administrators have also confirmed their interest – not officially – in succeeding the CAF 1st Vice President but George Afriyie has been highly tipped to lead football administration in the country.
