After a long one year wait, CONNECT 97.1 FM is ready to showcase what it has for its listeners across the Western and Central Region.
Being one of four Radio Stations acquired by the Media General Group, what was known previously as FLEX FM has begun making waves in its catchment area with its intrusive programming style; developing compelling content relevant to the needs and desires of residents in the area.
With its catch phrase “YE NYE WO NAM”, CONNECT 97.1 FM has positioned itself as a companion to listeners with its friendly and compassionate tone. The newest sensation in the Radio Market in Sekondi-Takoradi, will be officially outdoored on July 1, 2016. The itinerary includes the unveiling of the plush CONNECT HOUSE at Pipe Ano in East Tanokrom, Takoradi, and a float through some principal streets of Sekondi Takoradi to be climaxed with a huge musical concert at the Jubilee Park in Takoradi.
The route for the float includes Pipe Ano, Fijai, Efiakuma , Kojokrom , Sekondi Junction through Esipon to the Sekondi Town ship and Esikado. Other routes include Adiembra, Bakano, Efia Nkwanta Junction to the Paa Grant Round About and thence through the Central Business District of Takoradi to Kwesimintsin ending back at the Jubilee Park for the Musical Concert.
