Some celebrities have taken to social media to pay tribute to late dancehall songstress Ebony Reigns.
Ghanaians woke up to the news in the early hours of Friday about the death of the young artiste.
The ‘Maame Hwe’ crooner died in a motor accident at Nyame Bekyere near Abesewa in the Brong Ahafo Region Thursday night when a jeep she was travelling in rammed into a VIP bus.
Born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, the songstress made waves on the Ghanaian music scene with hit songs such as ‘Kupe’, ‘Hustle’ and ‘Poison’ among others.
Social media have since gone agog over her demise with industry players and colleagues of the late songstress paying tribute to her.
There were two other passengers including a uniformed military officer on board the jeep. The driver is, however, said to be receiving treatment at the Bechem Government Hospital.
