DJ AmessProphet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha, founder and leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries, has threatened to cause the manager of Castro to go mad. Castro’s manager’s crime was that he defended the controversial “One Corner song” by Patapaa in a way that incensed the man of God. DJ Amess had reacted to claims by Kumchacha that he bought CDs of Patapaa’s One Corner, did some spiritual work on them, prayed over them, anointed them with oil before burying them. DJ Amess who is a regular panel on the Anigye Mmre, an entertainment talk show on Accra-based Onua 95.1FM, said Patapaa has no album, therefore what Kumchacha bought were pirated CDs, suggesting that the man of God had engaged in illegality. This attributes didn’t go down well with Kumchacha who went berserk, calling DJ Amess with unprintable names. Prophet Kumchacha Prophet Kumchacha who confirmed to Christian Agyei Frimpong, host of Anigye Mmre, that he buried those CDs, also boasted whether the host still hears the song being played like it used to be. Prophet Kumchacha wondered if “DJ Amess is Patapaa’s lawyer. He is a DJ, he must be neutral, he shouldn’t take a stand. You can’t tell me it’s illegal, I will end your life with Deuteronomy 28:28. God will make him go blind before he dies.” As hard as Christian Agyei Frimpong tried to let prophet kumchacha reverse the curse, the man of God became more furious and insulted DJ Amess. DJ Amess who was not enthused by the pronouncement, said as a man of God, it was incumbent on Kumchaha to support and pray for Patapaa, a young musician, to succeed in life, instead of buying and burying his CDs. He also questioned where Kumchacha got the title ‘Prophet’ from. By Emmanuel Agyemang / Onua 95.1 fm/ editors.3news.com
