A new drama series currently airing on TV3 serves as an avenue for Small and Medium Scale enterprises to get an insight into business solutions. Set in the offices of an imaginary business consultancy called SOLUTIONS, each episode of the exciting and educative drama series showcases a day in the life of the business consultancy as it exhibits good business etiquette and practices. The drama also highlights interactions with its clients and other SMEs, gaining critical insight into their trials, successes, and how they eventually grow. Actors Ekow Smith Asante and Fiifi Coleman among other characters show a blend of everyday situations and occurrences on the business front  in the Ghanaian society. From waakye sellers to university graduates, fruit sellers and new graduates venturing into farming, the series capitalizes on drama and explores real life situations fused with some entertainment in mimicking diverse scenarios. SOLUTIONS addresses issues of financial analysis, capital generation and how businesses can double profits within a short period of time. In Ghana, most SMEs fall within the informal sector, employing up to 80 per cent of the labour force. Out of this, the majority are employed in agribusiness, hence, the need for orientation and education to grow and deepen their businesses. Among the problems these SMEs face is the limited access to business development services, the lack of business documentation and records, the lack of working capital as well as limited or no access to financial services. SOLUTIONS is produced by inGeniusAfrica, together with The HelpStation by Premium Bank, to educate and encourage SMEs. It currently airs on TV3 every Wednesday at 8:00 pm. Source: 3news.com ]]>
