But there is the need to act and do something about what we complain about.” According to Ms Asamoah, the motivation to write was borne out of a “bad” experience she had with a sales person after which she decided to channel her complaint or otherwise into writing a book. The 96-page book lays emphasis on the need for every salesperson to ‘Research’, ‘Rehearse’, ‘Relax’ and be ‘Ready’ at all times to sell to respective clients. Petra liberally shares her frustrations and triumphs to help bring home the various lessons in sales. Set in the local context with a global appeal, ‘Sales 101’ is a must-read for salespersons and everyone in general. Copies are available online and in bookshops across the country. Helping to launch the book were the Chair of the Electoral Commission, Ghana, Charlotte Osei, and Chief Executive Officer of Media General Pearl Esua-Mensah as well as Albert Ocran, Executive Pastor at ICGC – Christ Temple.
