Multiple award winning highlife artiste Kofi Kinaata has apologised to his fans and Ghanaians for his under-par live stage performance during the 2017 VGMA awards night. The ‘Susuka’ hitmaker has been heavily criticised for not living up to the bill when he mounted the stage at the VGMA barely a fortnight ago. Kinaata bagged three awards including Best Songwriter of the Year and Highlife Song of the Year at the VGMA. Speaking exclusively on TV3‘s morning program New Day, Kinaata accepted he was below par and apologised to his fans but promised a much improved live stage performance next time. “I was tired and very active throughout the week, having played a show on Friday before performing at the VGMA on Saturday. “I was very very tired and I wouldn’t use that as an excuse but I can only plead with my fans and promise to put up a better performance next time.” By Nana Afrane Asante|3news.com|Ghana ]]>
