2018 FIFA World Cup Official Poster unveiled

The official poster by the renowned Russian artist Igor Gurovich, has Lev Yashin, the Ballon d’Or-winning Soviet keeper, as the central figure

The 2018 FIFA World Cup official poster has been unveiled on Tuesday, three days before the tournament draw is held.

World Football legend Lev Yashin is at the front of the poster, in a very classic Soviet design. The poster will be the official logo that runs through the entire tournament in the summer of 2018.

The Russian legendary goalkeeper is pictured on the poster diving to save a classic ball. The poster is generally themed in gold and green colors.

FIFA say the 2018 poster was created by artist Igor Gurovich revealing he was inspired by the “unique visual language” from arts in the 1920s and 1930s.

The World Cup tournament begins on June 14 and ends on July 15 in Russia next summer.
