3FM’s Fact Check is designed to project and investigate claims made by politicians and senior public office holders.

The idea is to empower the Ghanaian public to know the facts and veracity behind those claims.

Comments or statements made by a politician or a senior public office holder are fact-checked to ascertain whether they are true or false and also to inform the general public.

Especially in this election season, 3FM’s Fact Check wants to empower the public to know the truth or otherwise of comments made by politicians in order to inform decisions at the polls.

Through Fact Check politics of issues, personality and not unbridled insults is encouraged.

Tuesday, September 6’s Fact Check focused on Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s promise of ‘One Village, One Dam’ policy promised during his tour of the Upper East Region.
